Good Looking Architecture: Stairs

I always enjoy taking photograph good architectural pieces.
I especially like staircases, specifically spiral shapes.
This photo (Tulip Stairs in England), I did not take it, but I would love to see in real, and hope to take my own photo of it.

Tulip Stairs at Queens House in England

Queens House, England

The elegant Tulip Stairs in the Queen’s House are the first geometric self-supporting spiral stairs in Britain. The stairs are supported by a combination of cantilever from the walls and each tread resting on the one below. Although called the ‘tulip’ stairs, it is thought that the stylized flowers in the wrought-iron balustrade are actually fleurs-de-lis, as this was the emblem of the Bourbon family.

The Tulip Stairs and lantern at the Queen’s House in Greenwich by Inigo Jones (British Architect). The first centrally unsupported stairs constructed within the first wholly classical building in England.
