Camellia Sinensis Plant

Camellia Sinensis

I decided to grow Camellia sinensis on my garden. Since I live in Portland why not? Climate should be fine, it is mostly cloudy and rainy here. Camellia sinensis plant loves shade and rain.
I bought it from Portland Nursery. I planted in a large pot, placed it in front of the wooden fence. It is a shady part of the garden. At first I put the plant in a sunny deck, in a few days I realized sun made damaged to the leaves. So I moved to the shady part. It seems like more happy there. I noticed new leaves are growing. In future I love to make my own tea!
Even though I have to wait 3 years to plant get mature, I am willing to try.
