It is still there, people who do not care copyright laws can download my ebook from this torrent site:
I send email them several times, but their respond was “we do not keep files here read this page:
Which is a nice excuse to continue their dirt business.
I have been using Google + about two months. I find interesting people there, a good network for photographers, writers and web developers. Sandra Buskirk paid attention to this problem. She suggested this:
+Sandra Buskirk “It is a good idea to contact their ISP directly–especially now that you have their response to your DMCA takedown notice, you can tell their ISP that they’re violating copyright and refusing the takedown notice. Their ISP can do all sorts of nasty things to them, including fines. +Mike Spinak recently posted an article he’d written on how to deal with DMCA infringements, which includes everything that an ISP can do to a site which is infringing on copyrights.”
She even searched the IP address and found their hosting company for me.
Netelligent Hosting Service in Canada.
ISP: Netelligent Hosting Services
Organization: Keyrus Canada
Services: None detected
Assignment: Static IP
I send email to them and reported stolen ebook and illegal download issue with my copyright.
I also read in their website this statement.
“Copyright or Trademark Infringement: Use of the Netelligent service to transmit any material (by e-mail, uploading, posting or otherwise) that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary rights of any third party, including, but not limited to, the unauthorized copying of copyrighted material, the digitization and distribution of photographs from magazines, books, or other copyrighted sources, and the unauthorized transmittal of copyrighted software.”
Today they send me email with an address so I can report this issue; abuse @ netelligent.ca
At least they did not ignore the issue, that is a positive sign.
I am curious after report the situation to them, will they do anything about it.
