Difference between post and pages in WP blog

WP Blog websites aim to create a dynamic and organized website structure. WP blogs are more designed for daily entry style pages.

Commonly used main content area ( post entries ) with articles listed chronologically, newest on top. Post articles are organized into categories.

You may get confused the difference between pages to post buttons on the dashboard ( right side of your screen ) at the beginning.

are main navigation buttons on the blog. Such as about us, contact us, services, etc. Usually these pages do not need to update regularly nor change much. They are acting more like static pages on the blog.

On the other hand post entries places under the categories. They organized chronologically, the newest post will show always on top of the list. Your daily entries will be the post articles.
