Homemade cucumber pickle

I love eating pickle. I grow so many cucumbers in my garden this year, so I decided to make pickle out of them.

Here is a simple recipe for 1.36L = 46 oz pickle jar.

Homemade summer cucumber pickle recipe:
4 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp pickling salt
1/4 cup vinegar
1 lime sliced thinly
1 tbsp citric acid
1/4 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp red crushed hot pepper
1 tsp dried dill
Water to fill the glass jar
1 tbsp pickling spice
2-3 English cucumbers, cut and sliced vertically
10 cherry tomatoes
5 thin chili green pepper
1/4 cup parsley

Wash all the vegetables throughly. Cut the end of cucumbers. Slice them vertically, you may also slice them ring shapes. I thought they fit inside the jar better when they are sliced vertically. Add spices, salt, vinegar and parsley into the jar, mix well. Then add pickles into the jar, between the spaces you can fill tomatoes and peppers.
Store in a dark and cool place (such as garage, make sure avoid from sunshine) about 10-15 days. I have used glass jar with tight lid to store my pickles.
