How to edit your text in WordPress?

How to make font size larger?
In a post or pages you can edit the text, such as making it bold, italics, center it, or in a particular sentence you can make use bigger font.
To do so highlight the word or entire sentence then choose a paragraph heading size.

choose heading

After applying the desired size you can also make different color by selecting color from text edit view button.

By default dashboard shows 1 set of editing buttons.
If you click on toggle view button, you can reach second level editing buttons.

You can also edit the CSS from within WordPress theme.
By editing  style sheet (CSS)  you can modify font size, font style, font color, font weight etc, as well as entire theme appearance.

To do so click on Appearance, then Editor

In default CSS style find your title or paragraph (p) , use a different font, change the size or color.

If you do not know how to edit CSS, I would not recommend this.

For example a CSS might define these elements:

p { margin:0 0 1em; color: #000000; }
h5 { font-weight:bold; color:#9621A9;  letter-spacing:1px; }
h6 { font-style:italic; color: #333; }
#post-title { font-family: Georgia, “Times New Roman”, Times, sans-serif; margin:0 0 10px;font-size:18px; color:#cc0000; }

If you want to change  all the paragraph style in your theme, then you need to edit CSS and change the p style as you wish.
You may change or add a style for a specific paragraph by adding a class  into the CSS. For that you can create a custom CSS in your stylesheet to achieve that.
