Lentil soup with clams


Delicious Lentil Soup
1 can baby clams (3-ounce can, I used Reese Smoked Baby Clams – in a can 3.66 oz)
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
1/3 cup lentil ( pink )
2 tbsp cracked wheat (bulghur)
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp tomato paste, salca

How to make this soup?
In a deep pot ut tomato paste and add 1 cup of water, stir well till paste dissolve into the water. The ass spices as well as clams. Stir a few times. Add lentils and bulgur with chicken broth and water. Cook in medium heat and stir occasionally. Cook the soup about 25 minutes, serve hot.
This is very nutritious soup for cancer patients as well as anemic people since it has good amount iron in it.
