Recommended Low Fiber Food List
Breads, Cereal, Rice and Pasta:
White bread, white rolls, biscuits, and croissant
French toast, Pancakes or waffles made from white refined flour
White rice, noodles, pasta, macaroni and peeled cooked potatoes
Plain crackers, Saltines
Cooked cereals: farina, Cream of Rice
Cold cereals: Puffed Rice, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes
Refined cereals such as Cream of Wheat
Yayla corbasi (Yogurt soup)
Canned or well-cooked vegetables without seeds:
Carrots, asparagus tips, green beans, wax beans, pumpkin, eggplant, spinach, purslane, zucchini, potatoes, without skin.
You may eat these vegetables raw: Lettuce, Cucumbers
Raw fruits: Bananas and cantaloupe, honeydew melon, watermelon, nectarines, papayas, peaches.
You can drink fruit juices without pulp and many canned fruits. You can drink ayran ( yogurt based drink ) and milk.
You can eat applesauce, plain pudding, ice cream or ice pops.
Besides this diet you should drink plenty of water, get regular exercise, at least take a walk every day.
Avoid eating chocolate that contains cocoa powder. Also avoid caffeine.
