Making Saffron Tea

2 cups boiled water
1/4 tsp Saffron Threads
2 tsp loose black tea
Pour two cups of boiling water into a teapot. Add loose tea and saffron, stir once. Let it steep covered for three minutes. Cover the teapot with a thick towel, so it does not get cold. Use a strainer when you are filling the cups.
Use either Turkish tea or Ceylon tea.
Saffron is native to the Mediterranean and is grown in Turkey, Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, and India. In Turkey majority of saffron comes from a town called Safranbolu.
