Sun Tea

Weather is getting warmer in Portland. I love drinking ice tea in summer days. Here is my version of sun tea for warm days.

Sun Tea

6 cups of water ( about 1.5 lt )
4 tbsp loose tea ( Turkish or Darjeeling tea )
8 large leaf of fresh mint
8 Jasmine flower ( collect fresh )
Optional: If you like sweet taste, you may add 2 tbsp honey.

In a large jar fill 6 cups of cold water. Put loose tea inside a strainer. Add mint leaves and jasmine. Leave it outside balcony, garden, or a sunny corner about 2-3 hours. Then keep it in the refrigerator.
