Before the new year I have watched the tourist, stunning beauty of Angelina Jolie and a very entertaining spy thriller story.
Ignore all bad critics, the movie is really good. Not only story ( full of humor ), but also good acting, good costumes and great scenery of France and Italy.
At the movie you will see Palais-Royal, Place du Palais Royal, Paris, France, Treviso, Veneto, Italy and Venice canal. Pay attention to Hotel Danieli, Venice scene, this building is a five star luxury hotel and built in 14th century.
You will be impressed by the old buildings’ magnificent architecture and street views (especially boat chasing seen in Venice Grand Canal). I think director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck ( he is my favorite director since I have watched The Lives of Others ) did a great job. It is a well done movie. Also the music worth to listen; there are 22 songs featured on The Tourist Soundtrack by composer James Newton Howard.
In elegant costumes, Angelina Jolie recalls a glamorous Grace Kelly in “The Tourist.” (Peter Mountain / Columbia TriStar / June 15, 2009)
Angelina wore her own Ferragamo bi-colored metal stiletto pump to her first fitting,” explains the film’s Academy Award-nominated costume designer, Colleen Atwood, who subsequently named the style after the name of Jolie’s femme fatale character. Photo: GETTY IMAGES

Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood did a great job dressing her very elegant dresses.
Angelina Jolie wears a form-fitting suit in the 2010 thriller “The Tourist,” for which Colleen Atwood said her inspiration was the classic elegance of Alfred Hitchcock films.
