Torrent websites do not care copyrights

I am very impress with the respond time from Google.

So good news comes from Google yesterday after I submit my DMCA complaint to them.
They replied my email in a few hours later.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have completed
processing your infringement complaint. The following webpages will be
removed from Google in a few hours:

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

The Google Team

Google took their action very quickly. Now you can not find link to these illegal download web pages.Yahoo and Bing also do not publish that content. I can say from this experience search engines do respect copyright and support authors. I am glad to learn this.

Since yesterday I have not get any respond from download-file.net website. It is a dead end. Then I send another email to them to ask remove my ebook from their website, still no respond. As I wrote yesterday on this blog, they do not have address, no phone numbers, only gmail support email address ( as a contact form). Cleverly hidden record on the web. You can not know who they are. They exist on them web, but they hide their tracks carefully.

They simply do not care at all about copyrights.

However I did get an email from PrivacyProtect.org.

Hello,

The domain name ‘download-file.net’ has been enabled with the Privacy Protection services which disables the Registrant’s actual details to be displayed in the whois lookup. To contact the Domain owner, you need to fill up the form listed at http://privacyprotect.org.

For the contents hosted on the website, we suggest you to contact the hosting provider of this domain name and file a complaint at their end. You will get the hosting providers details by preforming a lookup on this domain name at www.domainwhitepages.com

Regards,

PrivacyProtect.org

Although that was very fruitless advise to give. The download-file.net website continues to publish my ebook and sell people without my permission. Even though they say, they respect the Copyrights, it is a nice lie. They just do not.

Most pathetic part in  download-file.net website is written like this:

Important reminder

We have a right to reject any incomplete or anonymous messages.
We do not have to answer to threats of any kind. Please make sure your request is polite and decent. Please remember before sending your request: WE DO NOT KEEP or HOST ANY CONTENT or MATERIALS!
We appreciate your understanding.

“SEND THE INFRINGEMENT NOTICE VIA CONTACT FORM

Please allow up to 72 hours to process your message. Note that emailing your complaint to other parties such as our Internet Service Provider will not expedite your request and may result in a delayed response due to the complaint not being filed properly.”

So basically they say, be polite to us, even though we make money out of other people’s work. But you still need to be polite to us.

Since when thieves deserve respect?
After I searched about who is their hosting provider, I only found this information.

You can type these URLS’s on your browser, but it does not connect anywhere.
I will resend email to download-file.net support email account which is: vipmediasupport@gmail.com .

Do you think will they even answer?

I looked at the website, it has many pdf books as well as softwares, movie and music.
Do they have permission from the owners of these products to publish in their website? I do not think so.
