However just because you found an image online, that does not mean you can use it freely on your website!
Most images are copyrighted. If the image is provided free to use under public domain, then you can use on your website. Never forget that most of the images found on Google Images are copyrighted or trademarked. Especially avoid using graphics like logo, banner without a proper permission. So if you like to enhance your blog with some images, make sure use photos that aren’t violating copyright law. Keep in mind using someone else’s trademark commercially can get you sued. You can use royalty free images on your site without getting into trouble. Do you know what does “royalty-free” means? It means the images you purchase ( from a stock image website or any photography site indicated the license of the image as royalty-free) are yours to use whenever you want, for as many projects as you want. And if choose an image is available on a public domain site, you can use it without worrying of licensing issue. Public Domain refers to material that is ‘publicly available’ and not covered by intellectual property or copyrights.
